Project 602
The rear extension to this 1940’s property offered additional living space for family and visits by the grandchildren. The extension provided open plan living and dining space over the extensive rear garden. The inclusion of a downstairs utility room and separate shower and wc formed part of the project brief to future proof the clients’ home, should they require in their later years. The existing lounge, previously opened up into the dining space, was reinstated as a separate room, with double doors into the new kitchen and dining space hinged to swing 180degrees as to enable flexibility of the spaces should the user want to open the space up or separate them.
