The Firs II

An existing outbuilding to the property remained unused, yet separated the south facing central courtyard and rear gardens. To give the outbuilding purpose and provide a better connection between courtyard and rear gardens the client wished to create a dual aspect pool building in its place. Reclaimed facing brickwork have been incorporated, including original brick specials from the outbuilding. Access between the main house and pool building is achieved by a contemporary glazed link so that the main house and pool building are read independently of one another.
